There are days I wonder how we hold it all—this heartbreak, this hope, this knowing that something more is possible if only we dare to believe, dare to begin, dare to belong to something beyond what we’ve been told.
If humble means to be of the earth, I wonder if hopeful means to be of the heart. And if so, then perhaps the greatest work of our time is to stay tethered to both—to be rooted in reality while refusing to abandon the dream of something better. To plant our feet on solid ground and still let our hearts stretch toward the sky. To meet the weight of crisis and conflict with an unshaken devotion to the work that is ours to do—the work of healing, of holding, of honoring the sacred truth that we are here, in this moment, not by accident, but with great purpose.
I do not fit into this world as it is. And I know that is a blessing.
I am not here to uphold the status quo. I am here to challenge it, as it has challenged me. To untangle the knots of conformity, the conditioning that teaches us to divide ourselves from our own sacred knowing. To disrupt the cycles of harm with the wisdom of the heart and the fierce gentleness of truth.
Discomfort is not a punishment. It is a guide. It is Spirit knocking, calling us to wake up, to rise up, to take up the space that love and justice require of us.
And I believe that is why we are here, dear ones—not to shrink or surrender, but to restore. To restore hope within our bodies and beings so that we may ignite it in the world around us. To be pioneers of peace. To be the very bridge that brings heaven down into our humanity, weaving love into the broken places and forging new paths where only walls once stood.
It is not always easy. It is not always comfortable. But the vision of one day sitting in the comfort of true belonging, of justice realized, of love leading, keeps me steady. It keeps me willing. It keeps me here.
And so, I offer this to you:
Do not compromise your discomfort—thank it. Do not silence your knowing—trust it. Do not dim your light—let it guide the way.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the ones who will carry and create a world worthy of the sacred soul in us all.
I am humbled. I am hopeful. I am here.
(And so are you.)

May we gather in presence, in practice, in possibility. May we remember—together.
And may we never forget that even in times of tragedy, trauma, trials, and tribulation, we are not here to give up. We are here to transform. To turn pain into purpose, wounds into wisdom, and struggle into strength. To hold each other close, even in the face of all that tries to pull us apart.
