Dear ones,
As part of this 30-day journey, today I’m offering a guided meditation—a moment to pause, breathe, and return to the truth that we must do the work of regulating ourselves. In a world that is constantly shaking—through the violence in Gaza, the terrifying ICE raids in LA, the rising authoritarianism, the climate crisis, and our own personal heartbreaks—it is easy to fall into dysregulation, despair, or detachment.
But this is the time to stay awake.
This is the time to stay present.
This is the time to remember we are here on purpose, with great purpose.
This practice is about reclaiming your peace and owning your power—not to escape the world, but to meet it with skillfulness, responsiveness, and a steady heart. We cannot afford to be reactive. We cannot afford to lose ourselves to fear, burnout, or despair. What we can do is root, regulate, and respond—from the deep well of who we are and who we came here to be.
The meditation itself is grounded in breath, awareness, and embodiment. We move through deep inhales and softening exhales to release tension, reconnect with our bodies, and find restoration in the here and now. It closes with a gentle call to trust your unique place and power in this world, and a reminder that your peace is a contribution to collective well-being.
Something wild to share: as I was recording this, multiple fire trucks and sirens filled the air around my home due to a nearby gas leak—real-time evidence that it never stops, there is always something. And still, we stay the course. We practice. We show up. We offer ourselves the chance to breathe deeper and be clearer. Because this is it—this is how we stay free, together.
Please feel free to share this meditation with anyone who needs grounding, clarity, or care. These are challenging times, but you are not alone. We are not powerless. The more we regulate, the more we can rise.
With love, breath, and hope,
keri
