don’t let the hard harden you
just a little fun fact FriYAY coming your way and that is that the work of peace, the work of joy, the work of freedom, the work of healing for oneself as well as all our world, it really can be the hardest work you’ll ever do… and in the difficulty of going against the status quo and showing up tender and with a heart wide wide open, is and has and will continue to be the best kind of hard i/we can do….
it isn’t easy being present and letting go of the plan, it isn’t easy opening your ears and mind and nervous system to truths you so don’t want to be true and realities filled with situational and circumstantial hurts and harm, it is a complete challenge to detach in a way that still allows you to be steady and still and with another in all their pain, possibilities, and promise…
yet again and again, it’s the greatest hard my heart and spirit and human experience can ever do.
may we not pretend that this human stuff and shizz isn’t hard and hurting us all- for another fun fact and reality is just how interconnected and impactful we are to one another and the very land we live upon and all the life trying to live its fullest and freest among us.
i bow deeply to all who open up the space and hold compassionately all we are holding with love and humility and the honor of what we are able to do in that portal and practice of presence, just please oh please oh please do all within your means to make that space for you, too…
this human experience is hard. but the more we work with the hard and tend to the inhumanity i really feel and trust and hope it’ll be the stepping stones towards a remedy and repair each and all of our spirits are here to know.
this work and world be hard, y’all… don’t let that hard harden you.
And a gentle reminder: there is no yoga this Sunday at Russell’s blueberry farm, i am headed to our Sacred Lake Superior with my man, Mani, and our nephew for a week of restoration, waves, spaciousness, and being and breathing alongside the elements and ethers. I am Looking forward to sharing space with all who feel called when i return on Sunday, July 28th at 6pm. In the meantime, please again and again, do all within your means, magick, and might to keep on taking good and grand care of you. We also have a full and powerful moon this Sunday- one that’s all about the release of that which no longer serves and the return to all that does serve and support you. Consider what needs to shed- go- be complete and open your very heart, mind, and spirit to all that you are worthy to receive. the power is within us all- may we do the work of remembering we create our well and our well creates our world. I love you i love you i love you - the Universe does, too.
