FLOW: The Sweet Balance Between Sustainable and Challenging

Dear ones,

Take up space. Move in a way that honors the fullness of who you are. Give yourself the time, the care, the breath you so deeply deserve.

May this practice ground you in the knowing that you are held—by the earth, by your own strength, by something greater. May it offer you the spaciousness to rise, stretch, soften, and remember:

You are worthy. You are powerful. You are here on purpose.

And so is everyone else.

About this event

Join the Women of Michigan Action Network and the Midland County Democratic Party for Unite & Resist! Time change - now starting at 3 pm!

What is this rally for? What isn't it for?! Our rights and our country are being threatened on every front: freedom of speech, freedom of the press, marriage equality, healthcare, the economy, reproductive freedom, a functioning government, and our right to live in a democracy, not a dictatorship!

Join us and a line up of speakers, including Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet and Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum, as we unite for our country and resist the looming autocracy! Bring your signs, bring your neighbor, and bring your voice so Trump can hear us all the way to Mar-a-Lago!

+ call for care A few months ago I was interviewed as part of a short documentary highlighting the power of affirming care for trans folks and the devastating impact of anti-trans legislation. I'm excited to share that the documentary, made by high school student Ani Ceccacci in Royal Oak, Michigan, is up for an award in the CSPAN StudentCam Competition in association with PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs! Voting for this important project takes less than two seconds, and votes can be cast every 24 hours from now through Sunday, March 9th! Please join me in supporting this documentary in reaching a wider audience. Together we can also support Ani, a trans teen, in becoming an award-winning documentarian!
