hola dear ones,
today i am honored to share with you a meditation and mindfulness practice all intended to support our needs, meet our now, and know we are worthy of support, care, and compassion in all it’s creative capacities.
this practice can be done anywhere you are. you can be in a seat. you can be walking. you can be in the motion of movement of where you are. it is simply an opportunity to know how you feel and feel how you are.
after the practice, i offer some poetry that found me this morning in my meditation space and will share it just below. the biggest take away for me right now is that we need to prioritize our selves and place more energy in the effort of caring for who we are as we are. so much of my experience of navigating life in this world reminds me that if we don’t take care of ourselves, if we don’t place the healing and our own heroic action in our own hands, if we don’t see ourselves as worthy and whole, well more than likely no one else will and truthfully no one else can, we must do that for ourselves so we can better model to all else that they are able to do that radical act of self preservation too.

crushed in this moment of catastrophe
