my assumptions : what I bring with me / how I view the world
we are here on purpose and with great purpose. each of us made with a mission, a mending to the pain, and a story unique to each soul and all it’s growth. within the suffering of our lives as well as the wounds is the very way in which we can engage with our gifts, our grace, our own generosity and ways. it is already here and it is already within. the work really becomes remembering and reconnecting with all that lives and wants to liberate from and for each and all of us.
we are perfect exactly as we are yet, we all still have great work to do. our full Self is needed - which means we cannot bypass or deny any of the pieces - parts - identities - stories - scars - wounds we hold, or that others do too. may we see ourselves as the Divine being we are - here having a human experience to learn - unlearn - evolve - experience - and grow. may we meet the perfection that is alive here and now and allow that to excite us as we engage with and expand into the progress that is still to be made. as long as we are breathing, we hold potential and within that very breath lives and rests our very perfection.
healing is in our own hands. Independence + Interconnectedness is needed in our lives, to know we can honor the singular self and story that is ours while also recognizing we are apart of something so much bigger than just ourselves - we are made from all that is behind us and we are responsible for all that is ahead - and no one, no one can heal that totality but you - we can create the space and extend the invitation, but it is up to each of us as individuals to do the internal work of collective change. we are not well and our culture has made it so - we are not well until all are well - with access, opportunity, and support to hold our own healing in our own hands with agency and access to the choices and conditions that can make it so. no one holds your healing but you. and when you heal, we all benefit from that healing - past, present, and future. only you can heal you and only I can heal me, and also we can share in on the inspiration, we can share in on the opportunity, we can share in on the resources and grace with all we have the privilege and honor to support.
there is no singular and there is no neutral. everything affects everything. We live in a world and culture that likes to singularize the problems - point the finger of blame and call out what is “wrong” or not working. everything we do - and don't do - affects and influences all - from the microscopic to the gross - the subtle to the insurmountable - we either oppress or we liberate in all we do - there’s no in between. this is how we vote, this is how we think, this is how we move through the world. it can be overwhelming to notice this, but it is only though awareness that we and each other can begin to heal, grow, and truly change for the better.
this is a process and we are all at different places upon our path. we are not responsible for another’s soul growth as well as human growth, and that can be one of the hardest lessons we face - we must meet one another where we are, as we are - a calling of ourselves and one another up and in, instead of out, as well as an allowing of letting things go, be it relationships, roles, our ideas of responsibilities. we are not here to fix, control, or manage another. we are simply here to love and be accountable for ourselves and how we show up in the world and in our own body and being.
we owe no one anything and at the same time owe each other everything. this is complex and challenging work. mutual care is a must. knowing when we can step up and knowing when to step back. knowing what is ours and what is not ours. knowing we cannot pour, receive or radiate from an empty cup as well. there’s a way to care for ourselves and the entirety of our world that is complete and free from guilt, obligation, and expectation. when we operate from love, and true and potent love, we show up from a place of abundance, empathy, and ease - making it more possible to be of service, support, and even share in on sanctuary for ourselves and all we are apart of.
we currently live in a culture and time that will profit off your pain and benefit from your brokenness. capitalism, consumerism, and greed create dependency - institutions and system are made of people and people hold the power, yet all too often these entities are operating without a soul, without a moral compass, without ethics and empathy. we learn early on that our power is outsourced instead of inner sourced, when really we have held if and have it from the very beginning and every breath beyond. notice where you put your money, energy, efforts, attitude and time - does it truly support your freedom? or is it keeping you small, silent, stagnant, and sick with separation? when we change the narrative and operations from within to one of love, compassion, and connection, eventually the systems will have to change. everything is an inside job, can we please remember people, planet, and peace are more precious then any power, wealth, and need for more? we create the change.
intention does not equal impact. we must own our impact beyond our intentions - we can have the greatest of intentions and still cause harm. we must be willing to face our impact and be open to repairing all damage caused both inward and out. this takes humility. this takes practice. this takes care. intentions are needed, and also we need to see whether or not they align with what is being made, created, and shared. we must be willing to adjust, adapt, and try again when misalignment reigns and I also believe we are absolutely capable of that too.
we must love ourselves and one another into who we want to be and all we are becoming. we can't do this work of liberation and love alone. we need each other. our well-being is bound. hate, fear, ego - they all limit. love, compassion, union - they expand us into all that is awaiting to be. judgement cannot foster healing. bias and beliefs that believe in hierarchy and power over and under another will never get us free. it is love and love solely that will flourish us into all we were born to be.
and lastly
( f o r n o w )
there is nothing we could do or not do that could ever keep us from our Divine Creator’s Love. whatever belief system you have, whatever God you speak to, pray to, and have come to known in your own understanding, loves us and loves you and loves me completely. there is not a single or multitude of things that could take away that love. when we believe that for ourselves and our outer world and relations, we are generating shame and shame will kill us. shame will stifle us. shame will deplete us of all our Divine essence and power. please know, whatever Source created us created us with freewill. we get to choose everything we do and in that freedom, many have taken it upon themselves to take away that power from another. If the very Creator of this Universe didn’t do that to us, then why are we? when we build a relationship with our freewill we will also birth a way of being where we can finally know what it is to be free. beyond ego. beyond capitalism. beyond all that is is we think we know. we were given freewill. now the question becomes: will we do all we can with that freedom, so once and for all, all will and can be free?
so now I am curious, how do you see the world? which lens of mine do you share with me and which ones do you not so much agree? it’s valuable and vital information to know how we are viewing the world, ourselves, and each other… it’s important to know the ways your mindset defaults and it’s also important to know we can always change, we can always adjust, we can even disagree…
how do you see the world?
and can you envision with me a world where we are all happy, healthy, and so very very free?
