With Great Purpose: A New Chapter Begins
Big shifts are happening, and they are inviting me to expand—both in the work I do and in how I show up for all of you. For years, I have held space with intention and love, offering reflections and practices that encourage us to journey inward and align with our highest selves. But now, I’m being called to create something more spacious—a space not just for seekers, but for skeptics; not just for the hopeful, but for the weary. A space that serves as both a sanctuary and a catalyst—a place to return to our hearts, honor our humanity, and remember our purpose.
This new space—With Great Purpose—is about more than just a shift in what I offer; it’s about deepening the connection we have with ourselves, with each other, and with the world. It's about acknowledging the wounds, the hurt, and the healing we’re all moving through, and finding a way to live fully in that tension. This space will continue to host the heart-centered reflections, writings, and practices that have always been the foundation of my work, but I’m adding more: podcast-style chats, personal check-ins, and conversations that invite us to dive into the raw, courageous questions we often avoid.
I’ve always believed that healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. It’s personal, and it’s unique, but it’s also universal. Liberation comes from returning home to our hearts—through practices that nurture, connect, and open us up to the deep, sacred rhythms of life. It’s about the work of yoga, meditation, contemplation, and the simple acts of self-compassion. It’s about making space for nature, for the things that feed us, and for the things that awaken us to our divine light. Healing is possible—through time, through movement, through connection, through the magic of divine timing and our willingness to do the work to become free.
A while back, I received a message from my dad, who had passed. A medium shared his words with me: "Build it, and they will come."
Those words have stayed with me, especially through the shifts and challenges of the past few years. When the pandemic took my studio, Alignment 8, it forced me to rebuild from the ground up. But in that rebuilding, I discovered something: it wasn’t just a space I was creating; it was a new path, a new way of showing up for myself and for the people I serve. And now, I find myself coming back to those same words: "Build it, and they will come."
But what if this “building” is not just about a physical space—it’s about creating an inner pathway? A return to our hearts, to the hurt, to the light that lies within each of us. A space that honors the human, remembers the sacred, and invites in everyone who is seeking connection, joy, and community. It’s not just a space for those who are sure of their purpose, but for those who are searching, questioning, and stumbling—just like all of us. And so, I am building this space with deep trust, with purpose, and with love.
With Great Purpose is a call to remember and live from that truth. It’s a place where we can be real, share our stories, and hold each other as we navigate the messy, beautiful truth of who we are. Through my work in education, community-building, and trauma recovery, I’ve witnessed how disconnected we’ve become from our hearts, our spirits, and the truth of who we are. I’ve seen how fear, shame, and silence trap us in cycles that keep us small, and how the antidote is to speak, to awaken, and to share what’s been buried inside.
This space—With Great Purpose—is about giving us the tools to break free from those cycles. It’s a place to open our hearts, to dare to dream, and to take risks. It’s about showing up for ourselves and each other, and creating the conditions where we can thrive together.
We are all in this together, and I believe that the world needs us to remember who we truly are. Our purpose isn’t a far-off dream; it’s woven into the very fabric of our being. It's in our breath, in our bones, in every step we take—no matter how faltering. What if this space could be the portal that invites you to remember and live from that truth? What if, together, we could step into the light of our purpose and live fully, openly, and authentically?
The world needs us to reconnect with our purpose—to remember that we are made on purpose, with great purpose. And I am here, walking beside you, as we live that truth together.
And I wonder—if I build this, will you come?
With love, light, and great purpose,
Keri
About me, Keri (she/her/hers)
Welcome to With Great Purpose—a space where healing, growth, and purpose meet in sacred alignment. I’m Keri, and the work I share with you comes from my own walk through pain, purpose, and transformation. What you’ll find here is a tapestry woven through personal experience, education, and a fierce belief that all of us are here with great purpose, even when the road is dark or difficult.
My Story
I carry my story with me—its joys and its wounds. In July 2013, I lost both of my parents in tragic and traumatic circumstances: homicide and suicide by cop. They didn’t get to heal, but I have. Through my healing journey, I’ve found deep meaning in the most painful parts of life. These experiences have not only shaped my purpose, but they’ve also led me to this moment—to create a space that invites you into a larger conversation about healing, trauma, and finding the courage to live with purpose.
This path isn’t easy. I’ve faced my own struggles with childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect. Yet, the work I do is deeply rooted in the knowledge that healing is possible—no matter how deep the pain runs. Healing is a privilege, but it is also a calling—a calling that can’t be singular. Our stories, though personal, are part of a collective narrative that demands healing. And so, I share my story, my lessons, and the work I’ve done in the hope that it might spark something in you.
The Work Ahead: With Great Purpose
With Great Purpose is more than just a name. It is a call to action—an invitation to live with intention, to open our hearts, to heal and to remember our wholeness. This project is where I will share the stories I have lived and died through, the lessons I’ve learned, and the practices that have transformed my life—trauma, grief, adversity, and healing. We will explore these themes together, using universal and ancestral wisdom to guide us back to our hearts, to our truth, and to our purpose.
This work is about liberation. It’s about moving beyond the constraints of a society that profits from our pain, to create a life that is authentic, aligned, and whole. Through storytelling, courageous conversations, and shared vulnerability, we will break through the narratives that keep us small, stuck, and silent.
You are not alone in this journey. This is a space to connect with your heart, to heal, and to dream. It’s a place where we can be our true selves, honor the power of our stories, and reclaim the purpose that is our birthright. This work is radical, it’s transformative, and it’s necessary—especially in these times.
I am humbled to hold this space for you, as we all walk the path of reclaiming our wholeness and living with great purpose. It’s through our shared stories, our courage, and our willingness to open up to what is possible that we can heal and transform—not just ourselves, but the world around us.
stay tuned, Sacred ones, stay tuned…

With Great Purpose sounds quite interesting. A personal thought about podcasts...Please consider keeping them short...perhaps, five minutes. With the plethora of podcasts out there, for me personally, when they are longer, I choose not to listen. For written posts, three posts in three days is preferable to one long post every third day...but this is just one person's preference.
So excited to hear about “With Great Purpose”! Can’t wait to learn more 💜
